Our Advisory Committee
A diverse set of subject matter experts advise The Stock Pawnshop. The job of the Advisory Committee is to provide independent, objective input to inform the organization’s policies, programs, initiatives.
They are our muses and make us whole.

Gravy Train
Gravy Train is a human locomotive. He has made many IPOs happen and has traversed the country with more public company management teams than The Donald. At 60, he has more energy than most fourth graders sans ridillin’.
Gravy was famous at Barclays for his Fryday ideas and Stock Pawnshop members are in luck that the Fry Guy is making a comeback. When not looking at stocks, GT is the ultimate family man. He cleans the house, attends his son’s sporting events, and hosts book club for da ladies.

G-Money
G-Money was once one of the top small-cap fund managers in the country and is very excited to bring some of investing magic back to the public. Like Sleepy Pete, you will not find GWP on a golf course or fancy coffee shop. But you may catch him perusing a 10-K on the can.

Sleepy Pete
Sleepy Pete has worked in fixed income for 30+ years, and at this stage of the game he wears whatever the hell he wants.
Sleepy Pete has seen panics, freak-outs, bed-wetting, bed-shitting, shitting oneself, wetting oneself, market puking, puking on oneself, rips, dips, dives, moonshots and meltdowns.
Sleepy Pete studies the market and does aquarobics with the Golden Girls and Lucille Ball.
Sleepy Pete usually writes in the third person, mainly so he can remember what he’s doing.

Dr. Rhesus
Dr. Rhesus was born in a lab in an undisclosed location. His early aptitude in fractal banana peeling earned him a position in a Middle-Asian space agency.
It was there that Dr. Rhesus developed the Dr. Rhesus Secret Algo.
The Dr. Rhesus Secret Algo is a proprietary model that incorporates global geopolitical information as numerical data points to generate “all-weather alpha.”

Frances “Tactical Frannie” MacAllister
Tactical Frannie MacAllister’s entire file is classified. Suffice it to say she has played a role in every major coup since 1985.
Ms. MacAllister’s role at The Pawnshop is that of Senior Global Advisor.

"Fry Guy"
Fry Guy's job is to highlight ideas from the week. He was born years ago in service to Joe Graves. Fry Guy retired when Joe left Barclays. Now, he's come out of retirement to bring fresh and crispy Friday ideas to patrons of the Pawnshop.
